3 October 2018 – Pingelly Recreation and Cultural Centre Update

Mr Pete Gunson from the WA Forest Communities Network recently organised a tour of the Pingelly Recreation and Cultural Centre. The bus picked up attendees from Manjimup, Bridgetown, Donnybrook, Bunbury and Collie. The tour also attracted attendees from Albany and Perth. There was a mixed group of local councillors, FIFWA members and retired foresters, every one interested in our sustainable WA timber industry. A great day was had by all - admiring the new building, learning about the unique benefits of building with wood and sharing stories.

Among the attendees was the Hon. Mia Davies MLA, who kindly gave us permission to share the stunning photos she captured on the day.
